Infrastructure Code Of Practice (ICOP)
The Infrastructure Code of Practice (ICOP) on access to upstream oil and gas infrastructure on the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS) is a voluntary arrangement developed by Oil & Gas UK in consultation with the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) which sets out principles and procedures to guide all those involved in negotiating third-party access to oil and gas infrastructure on the UKCS.
Consistent with the principles of the Code, ENGIE E&P in the UK is making relevant data available to enable prospective users to develop an informed view of infrastructure options in their areas of interest through access to current operational and ullage data sufficient to enable prospective users to undertake basic economic screening of alternative offtake options.
